Problematic Mobo 990xa DU3

Hello, One year ago maybe when i was away, my pc was running and then suddenly a thunder struck and cut off all the electricity later on when i turned my mob on my ETHERNET was not working inside my mobo, Does this mean my mobo is problematic? All of the voltages of bridges etc are the same, i will build a new rig but i dont want to spend money on mobo since this one is pretty much the same that i will get

If everything else seems to work with your system minus the ethernet then you could just pick up a cheap network adapter.

It may have zap the Ethernet port and all you have to do is add a network card 10- 15 bucks tops and you be back in bussiness.

I already have a cheaper adapter, I was just wondering if this is a sign of a broken MOBO I dont want to spend money on the same mobo
