Solution
Is MAC Filtering enabled on the router?
It's possible the USB adapter's MAC may be registered with the router and MAC filtering is enabled, this will cause the same issue you described.

To determine if MAC filtering is enabled, connect to the router using an ethernet cable, and browse to the router's settings page, usually 192.168.1.1. Log in and browse to the Wireless section of the router. Next click on MAC filter from the menu.
Ensure the Enable MAC Filtering is unchecked.

You could start off by updating your drivers. This may be a simple fix.

i all ready tried that... they were all up to date

I think it's possible that your wireless card doesn't support the encryption technique or authentication. I'm no network expert, but I believe this is possible.

it connect to other networks, also my samsung s3 wont connect to this network, it keeps saying authentication error, but all my dads customer's phone connects to his wifi.

i am finally able to connect to his wifi, but only when im using a usb wifi adapter on my laptop..... but when i try connecting without using my usb wifi adapter, while standing next to the router, my laptop still wont connect unless im using my usb adapter
