Problems getting home videos to play on Windows 10

A lot of home videos that played well on Windows 7, are not showing up on Windows 10. Some play but are audio only. Seems a common complaint on-line. Anybody have the solution?

You may try the common troubleshooting such as;

- Update/Re-install your graphic drivers.
- Disable Hardware acceleration in your graphic card settings.
- If you are trying to view videos online;
>> Update your browser.
>> Clear your browsing history, cache, temporary internet files.
>> Update your flash player
>> Update your media players (such as VLC player, etc).
>> Disable hardware acceleration in your browser's settings.
