problem with the cd writor :
i have scsi smart & friendly CD TURBO RW EXT sn: 0045-00265

i use CD CREATOR 4 to make audio cd.
unfortunatly i can not play them on my stereo player...
i thought at the begining that it is the softwere but the CDWR did not write good also with the NERO.

i also tried to write DATA and some files were corrupted/ could not be read too....
the CD WRITER is new...i made no more then 10 in my ex computer... it worked good in my ex-computer, thou ,when i used the old computer to make audio CD, first i converted the files to WAV by winamp, and then- wrote the cd by CD CREATR 3...
and it was ok...

so...
what is yor analizis?
is it the softwere or the hardwere?
ps
- i installed the SCSI card by Plug & Play (i use win98), and did not install any special driver...

The speed at which you create an audio CD sometimes has effects on how CD players read it.
