I have a dell t3500 with a 09kpnv motherboard. I've just bought a new processor xeon w5590 but my cooler is fanless, so i have to buy one, but the motherboard only has 5-pin connectors, and the coolers i can get are 3-pin, for example a thermaltake riing 12, but it's a 3-pin connector, is there a way to do the job? I remove some parts from the case so it can fit, and it does, but a don't have a 3 pin connector.

it also has a fdd connector like this https://www.tiendacables.com/WebRoot/StoreES/Shops/ea2337/546F/2424/F499/83DB/59CA/AC10/1416/DD44/VLCP74040V015.JPG

Solution
Most people just add an 80mm/90mm fan to the cooler. Removing case parts is a bad idea generally because they form a duct around the cooler. This means the HDD tray, and the memory cooling shroud are part of the cooling. The .8A. Dell fan is actually a pretty potent peice.
There is an extra 5 pin header for the optional HDD fan. The first 3 pins of the Dell header are the same order as a standard 3 pin. Just don't use the blue wire/pin.
