I have a 250 gb Crucial storage device that I'm trying to install Windows onto but it won't recognize it. I also have the bios up-to-date and have it set up to supposedly read the device but it just does not recognize it at all. Please help! MB is a 970 pro gaming/aura.

Based on the specifications for that motherboard, the M.2 slot is PCIe ONLY. Which Crucial M.2 disk do you have ?

It might be a SATA one though the bios does recognize it
I have also checked on pcpartpicker to see if this m.2 storage device would work with the MB before even buying it and it stated that it should work. So I'm at a loss as to why windows installer does not recognize it.
