[SOLVED] Problems mounting motherboard

Solution
Did you make sure to install the standoffs in the case? They may be pre-installed if not, you need to install them.

You will want to do this:
  1. Set the case horizontally on a flat place.
  2. Ensure standoffs are installed in the proper spots.
  3. install the IO shield in the inside of the case. No need for much force.
  4. tilt the motherboard and lower it down so that the IO shield and back of mobo aligns.
  5. set the motherboard flat and make sure it is aligned on the standoffs.
  6. Screw motherboard in.

Hey there, thanks so much for the reply. I did all that and was okay until tge point of alligning and screwing the mobo in place. I would get one hole to line up and then none of the others would line up.

I did contact both asus and cooler master and podt of then said it might be a bad mobo so Im just waiting on the replacement to try again.
