Ok so if anyone could help this would be great because I am about to have a mental breakdown because of my computer. First got new Ram for my birthday (Vengeance rgb DDR5 6000mhz) I had 32 Gigabytes already and it worked like a charm, so I got 33gb more and once in (securely it registered and booted but there was a problem with booting I’ll get to that later) I go into bios and now says all the sticks are DDR5 4800, 3600mhz so I noticed that and went to change it and then save and leave) then went back on and it said all 4 slots where used but it was at 3600mhz and even after multiple attempts no luck and for whatever reason I feel like it’s still making the max 4800 instead of 6000 (I set it to 5800 though max never 6000) first problem 1. Second problem now even with the sticks at 3600mhz the computer either takes 5+ minutes to boot (before) or doesn’t boot at all, now worse no matter what I do it says the HDMI not working Blah Blah Blah, I noticed though my mouse that is connected to my motherboard (HDMI is connected to the GPU obviously) so there both plugged into different things but my mouse RGB doesn’t turn on and neither does my monitor, (I’m already stressed out enough with the ram not turning to it’s actual thing it’s supposed to go to and nothing posting (all the computer RGB and stuff is on) so I take out all but 1 Ram stick and swap them all out but again and again No posting no HDMI connection and no RGB for the mouse, I’m so stressed if anyone has any ideas or solutions I would be so grateful to hear them because of how stressed out I am, thank you for your time,

What does that mean? Sorry
theres a small battery that serves the purpose of saving your BIOS settings, since if the PC is unplugged the BIOS settings are lost, this battery provides a small current to the BIOS chip and prevents data loss. thus saving your saved BIOS settings without having to change it every time you unplug from the socket. it also keeps the time running :)

we are intentionally trying to clear the CMOS that will reset the BIOS settings.
to do this, unplug your PC from power and then press the power button 2-3 times to discharge any capacitors. then remove that small round battery from the motherboard and wait for 10-20 seconds. Now you can put the battery back into the place as it was before (don't flip it or anything). Now CMOS is cleared successfully, try restarting PC and checking if it made a difference.

Alright, that sounds like it would fix the ram problem but what about the monitor and mouse not Turing on when the rest of the pc is on? Because I do need to figure that out before I can change that stuff because that’s how I access it, anyways thanks for the help your a real G

to Anwser the other question it was the same exact kit as before
It's not. The SKU might be the same but the sticks are not. It's only the same RAM if it's bought in a kit of 4. Two separate kits of 2 is different. Different batch and it even can have a different MIC. If you want 64GB with 4 sticks you buy a kit with 4 sticks but don't expect it to run over 4800MT/s because 4 sticks is a much tougher job for the memory controller to run. Get a 2x32GB kit with EXPO profiles if you want it to run at 6000 MT/s.

Ok thanks but now either wag my moniter is not posting and my mouse rgb and keyboard rgb aren’t turning on, how do I fix that?

Even with experimenting with 1 stick of ram at a time (I did it with all 4) the moniter and all the stuff doesn’t post, what do I do now?

Clear cmos as suggested before, this resets bios / settings applied to defaults. Consult motherboard manual on how to clear cmos. Usually just removing cmos battery and holding case power button to drain remaining power from motherboard capacitors then waiting a few minutes before putting cmos battery (+ side up) should do the job, however procedure from motherboard might suggest using/shorting cmos jumper pins instead. Instructions will be in the motherboard manual.
