problems plugging In new PCI and CPU

I've bought a new CPU(mai z97) and PCI(gtx geforce 970 4g) but it wont work, really need hjelp!:S

if the onboard video is working go into the msi bios screen look at the bios rev of the mb. then go to msi web page see if it the newest bios file. if it not download the newest bios file and unzip it to a usb stick. then with the usb stick plugged in reboot and go under msi utility screen and update the bios. the other issue can be weak or bad power supplty. what the make and size of your power supply.
