Problems setting Gamma on my PC

I'm having issues adjusting Gamma on my PC. What happens is, I would drag the bar on the gamma settings to max, and it would show the gamma settings that I set it as, but revert immediately back to the original gamma.

I've tried this in both Nvidia Control Panel and Windows Calibration, both do the same thing.

Here are my specs if that helps diagnose my problem:

Asus Formula VII Motherboard
Intel i7 4790K
Nvidia Asus Strix GTX 970
Samsung 250GB SSD
Cooler Master 650W PSU
G.SKILL Trident X 16GB

Monitor(s): Asus VG248QE & Asus VE248H

Woah. A few days ago, I was having this issue on my ROG Swift!
After hours of messing around, I finally realized the issue. It was f.lux!

Try disabling F.lux, then try again. Good luck!
