[SOLVED] Problems setting Refresh Rate ?

Just purchased an Asus Tuf Gaming VG27AQL1A Monitor that is rated for 170hz. Running through a DisplayPort cable. When I go to Nvidia control panel, I go through the steps to change resolution, change refresh rate, I enter 170hz as a value, test, screen comes back on but there's no "APPLY or OK button. When I close that customize window, 144hz. What am I doing wrong ? Am I missing a step?

32gb Corsair vengeance pro 4x8
EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super
