Problems setting up 2 Wireless Routers

Hi,

I have recently installed a second router in another section of our office that could not recieve wireless from the original router. I am now having IP issues due to the second routers clients not recognising the correct Default Gateway. If I setup the computer to have static IP addresses I can get the computers to work perfectly but I want to use the DHCP server to issue addresses especially on this end of the network.

Is there a way to make the new router just a switch/hub so that computers aquire their IP addresses from the base router which supplies the internet but also keep the wireless working on the second router?

I can't tell from reading your post whether you have connected the two routers by cable or by wireless. Here are a couple of scenarios which may be helpful:

The two routers are connected by underground cable to another office.
