Hi all.

I have a blueh monitor hm19w and having issues with it when switching on after 5 hours on inactive.

The problem is that when I switch it on the power light turns green then goes back to amber sometimes it would go green but no display and the only way to fix it is to unplug the power.

Also there is a crackling sound which sometimes is very loud and constant until I switch off the monitor.

When there is pictures on screen the display slowly starts to go white.
The monitor does work after a few minutes of repeatedly switching on and off.

I have had this monitor for about 3-4 years and had not have problems until now.
I'm thinking that it could just be the cold weather affecting the circuits inside.

Is it worth waiting until the issue resolves itself or should I get a new monitor?
This has been happening for 3-4 months now.

Solution
Replace the monitor because I'm almost certain it's an internal fault and fixing monitors with internal faults (or paying someone to fix it) just doesn't make sense where cost is concerned (compared to buying a new monitor).

Blueh is an obscure brand in most western countries, probably not very well-made. Get a well-known reputable brand like Samsung, AOC, iiyama, LG etc).
