[SOLVED] Problems to check for on new VR headsets ?

Do VR headsets have any common issues you need to check for when it first arrives (like how you're supposed to check every new computer monitor you get for dead/stuck pixels)?

Not that I know of.
The most obvious to check would be

1. scratches on the lenses
2. dead pixels, though they might be hard to see.
