My PC info: https://valid.x86.fr/pj8w6l

So, basically i found on this link: https://www.kingston.com/datasheets/HX421C13SB_8.pdf this piece of text:
• JEDEC: DDR4-2133 CL15-15-15 @1.2V
• XMP Profile #1: DDR4-2133 CL13-13-13 @1.2V
And then by looking at CPU-Z info i found out my ram is running on 15 latency instead of the advertised 13. Now, to be clear, i don't care how much of an actual improvement this makes. At this point it just annoys me that i can't change it and want to know why...

- Unable to find any X.M.P related entries in my BIOS or the manual
- Downloaded that sketchy Gigabyte EasyTune app and it shows X.M.P greyed out: http://prntscr.com/k6qwjr
- Confirmed that CPU-Z shows X.M.P as one of the possible profiles: http://prntscr.com/k6qwt8

TL;DR: Why can't i enable X.M.P profile? Motherboard, BIOS, RAM or my own stupidity?

Woah, thanks for the quick reply...

So, should i just give up on it, is it not possible...? As i understood there is not much of a difference between 13 and 15 latency...

See if you can find a place to manually set the timings. I suspect they won't be accessible though. There's not any reason to have XMP profiles when the board only supports 2133. Cas 13 would be better since 2133 is as slow as DDR4 gets but the difference is tiny and certainly not something you'd notice in day to day use. Maybe a very few games would give you a few frames per second and other memory intensive stuff would be a second or two faster.

Alright then... As long as i know why i can't change it i am satisfied...
Thank you again for quickly resolving this. Selected your first answer as the solution.

Cheers
