Problems updating my cpu driver

Hello, so my cpu is i7-950 3.06ghz and im having problems updating its drivers. I noticed in device manager that its driver date is 21.6.2006 so i went to intel website to check for updates and there is this https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22521/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-Driver-Windows-7-64-Windows-Vista-64-exe-?product=37150 . So i tried to update my cpu and it just says that my computer doesnt meet with requirements. I have win7 and that is the same cpu on the website as mine. I know i could try to manually install it but I decided to ask here first. Thanks for answers

Do you have a GPU? If so, the bios may disable the integrated GPU so windows wouldn't see it.

Do you mean that I should disable my gpu first then try to update cpu? And also does every cpu have integrated gpu? My friend said that my cpu may not have one. Is there a way to test this? Thanks for answering so fast

If a GPU is installed it disables onboard video.

Thats why that message comes up. You cant install onboard drivers if a GPU is installed

If you want to install onboard video drivers, you'll have to remove the GPU

I noticed that my cpu was 3.07ghz, not 3.06. My cpu does not have integrated gpu so im sorry for wasting your time. Thanks for help anyways
