Hey guys so I recently bought a new mid range gaming laptop, the ASUS ROG GL551JW-DS71
i7 4720HQ, Gtx960m 2Gb GDDR5, 750HDD and 8gig of ram.

Well, the problem started when I began testing the fraps on various games I owned. (All of them in 1920x1080)
Skyrim (High, no AA nor ) 20-30 fraps
KSP (Everything high) 20-30 fraps
Dota 2 (Everything high, no AA) 30-35 fraps

So, as you can see i am kind of impressed of the poor performances I am getting, because i used to have a dell, which was not a gaming laptop w/ 860m and i ran all those three with 40 or more fraps. I first thought i was using the integrated instead of the dedicated card but i changed those option and its still showing poor performance, even WITH EVERYTHING ON LOW.
I already reinstalled the drivers from zero and it does not seem to help.

I suspect this system is able to get higher fraps, but still i wan't to make sure if its the computer itself or some kind of driver problem or anything. I just bought it, thank you.

Can an1 help me please?

Solution
I received 2 of these laptops, one as a replacement, and it seems Asus is a piece of sh*t. I use that word because it fits them better than a glove on a hand. Both laptops and I'm assuming yours is underclocking the gpu once it reaches 74-75 celsius. Dropping the clock speed to as low as 500mhz. Thats 60% less performance than stock. As far as I can see a lot of other people are having this issue. Request a refund if possible.
