Problems While Playing Rust.

Hi everyone. When I play Rust or some of the other survival games, I always have problems with freezing and then unfreezing like 6 time in a row and especially when I get into a gun fight it starts to freeze and unfreeze, sometimes it even freezes for like 5 seconds and then someone kills me by the time I unfreeze.

If anyone has any suggestions on what is causing this problem, it would be really appreciated if you could help me out. Thanks

Here are my specs -
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB
CPU - AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
RAM - 8GB

it should be since my friend has the same problem
and hes planning on getting a new cpu sometime soon it should be the cpu from what i see it from it also could be a problem between the driver and the game itself because of the recent changes and the game still being in alpha

Yeah it's the CPU. I have the same problem, and I have two E5-2670s. It kind of sucks, as the game only runs on 2 threads. My GPU averages around 50% use because instead of running on 4 or 8 or maybe even all 32 of my threads, it has to wait for those 2 to make all the calculations, causing stuttering and low FPS.

it MIGHT help to just run it in dx12 or some else dx

oh and when looking into a cpu capable of playing rust well make sure the single core performance is good to begin with
