I had to reinstall the software on my samsung ns310 because it wouldn't successfully run adobe flash player. After the reinstall the afp works perfectly, but when I turned the machine off that evening it said it had 68 updates to install, which took 12 hours. The following day there were 9 updates which upto the time of writing this it's still on going after 14 hours with two more items to go. Can you advise me is this normal as the tech. servise man from samsung suggests.

I actually have one of those netbooks (my wife's actually) and it does apply updates very slowly. These systems are not terribly powerful in terms of processor capability (Atom cpu). That being said, these times seem awfully long.

Check your power settings to make sure you aren't limiting your processor speeds. Also, it could be an issue with your network connection taking a VERY long time to download the files.

Good luck!
