Problems with 1070ti install

Hi guys,

Got a problem installing my new 1070ti. I've installed it into my Z97 PC mate mobo, power in from Corsair cx750m PSU, 8 pin to 6+2 in the card.

When I power on I just get no display - fans spin on the GPU for the first few seconds then stop. If I plug my monitor into my mobo I also get no display, but if I take out the GPU and then plug into mobo then I get a display no problem.

Any ideas? Everything was working perfectly with my old GPU, no reason to thing PSU, RAM, mobo has anything wrong with them.

EDIT: just tried my old GPU and that isn't showing a display either...

Oh my lord. After 3+ hours of troubleshooting everything, the problem was my brand new hdmi cable. Check your cables guys!

Same thing happened to me. I bought a cheap HDMI cable off Amazon, thinking that all cables are the same. I learned my lesson the hard way. Glad that you figured it out.
