My friend and I built this computer a while ago and have started having problems with it powering on and staying on for anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes and then rebooting and going through the same process everytime. I tried different outlets in my house and same problem is constantly occuring.

I havent tried a new power supply yet, is it possible that I could have an issue with the power supply if it randomly reboots like this?

Heres the build: http://screencast.com/t/v3UQcwmGi23Y

I messed up the screenshot, im running a torture test on the system right now all the cores are running at 100% and temps hovering around 80 degrees celsius

Okay still getting some random restarts, I have been getting power from another room cause I think I was overloading my breaker cause all the power in the room would go out. Now it just randomly restarts with a new power supply. Is there anyway I can do an RMA on a power supply thats 4-5 months old?

It depends on the unit. They all have different awareness. Good power supplies can have warentees of 7 or more years but cheaper supplies might have very limited warentees. The warentee would only cover replacing the supply, no one will take a supply back for refund after several months.

Sounds like PSU... have you added more hardware since build?

Humor us, unplug the 20/24 pin power connector as well as the 4/8 pin EPS. Inspect closely with a loupe if yo have one, and check if any of the pins are recessed more than "normal," wiggle them with a small plier and check for excessive play.

you can also get a tester for relatively cheap. these are small devices that you can plug the PSU connectors into and they detect if various cables are actively supplying power, if they have shorts or if you are only getting partial power. These testers cost about $25.
