Hi having problems with getting my biostar a960d+V2 motherboard reading AMD graphic cards, so far I have tried hd7770 and Rx560 both are powered up fine and fans spin and they both work in other computers now I can use my GT 1030 or gtx 660 ti no problem can any one explain why this is? I have used ddu to remove drivers did not work and every time I boot it just wants to go for the hd 4290 built in

Build:
fx8350 @4ghz
12gb ram
120gb SSD
Biostar a960d+v2

Solution
Not sure why NVidia Geforce cards are working and AMD Radeon cards are not. The only think I can think of would be something along the lines of interference with the on-board graphics.

I'd probably check your motherboard BIOS and change the chipset setting for the Primary Video Controller and try different settings there:

GFX0-GPP-IGFX-PCI (Default)
GPP-GFX0-IGFX-PCI
PCI -GFX0-GPP-IGFX
IGFX-GFX0-GPP-PCI

Pg 24 of the BIOS Manual - ZIP File.

If your display is connected to the motherboard, it's using the onboard graphics regardless of whether a graphics card is installed or not.
If your display is connected to a graphics card output, it's using the graphics card regardless of what anything else tells you.
