wow.....just wow........ i don't even know where to begin on this "great" board
lets start with
got this board and some tforce 32gb 6000 ram. got the whole brand spanking new build going and....... the mb blew the ram up within 24 hours with a dram light always on no matter how many reflashes or battery removals i did, rmad the board through newegg and sent the ram to tforce, while waiting i picked up some gskill neo z5 32gb 6000 ram to put in. i get home and put the ram in the brand new rmad mb and....... was fine for all of 2 days when...... what only i can call a horror story of how asus can't make a bios.

so i flashed 1616 and this is what it will do and it would crash and only show 4,6,8 gb of the 2 ticks of 16gb ram i had, it would also crash so hard i had to take my pc case apart {haf700} and pop the battery out to get it to work, i also had to reflash a couple times.
then flashed to 1602, this one works........okay i guess. it works stable for anywhere from 1 to 7 days but will always and i mean always crash with the dram light on, but atleast with this downgrade i don't have to take the battery out, it just crashes, resets and continues, some times taking 6 times crashing at the windows login screen.

updated to 1636.........hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha this is the worst one, it has crashed 16 times in 3 hours. load up star citizen, dram. load up amd adrenaline, dram. load ats, dram. at this point i have talked to 3 supervisors and absolutely nothing is being done. so im done with asus, im getting a asrock steel legend x670e board and hope that it works better. this has been the worst welcoming back to pcs.

additionally: the argb on the ram will go weird with this mb, sometimes on boot it will rapidly flash all the leads, sometimes 1-3 leds will get stuck in a colour, sometimes they fail to completely turn on.
more of why i really dont think asus will ever fix this is the following:
router- yeah as many now asus had a lovely bios update to the router and it kill a lot of peoples routers.
alley- what a machine..... to bad a bios update killed the performance by 20%.
i don't know what then asus bios team is doing but it seems to me there sabotaging their company. i've had many of there products from the zenfone to the amd crosshair formula-z, and coming back was the worst thing i did.

3 months and my $4k pc build still cant stay on for more then 1 week with out the dram light coming on.

This wouldn't be the Asus Strix model in Linus Tech. Tips video ? The one that burns, blows up if you leave settings on default ? RAM is finicky when it comes to OC vs XMP, if you run with the CPU rated Ram speed you're XMP, if you run with MB rated Ram Speed you're OC. Hope that's not the case.
