Hi,
I have been experiencing a problem with my computer whenever i play games it can take anything from 5-10 minutes up to a few hours if i am lucky that i will be able to play the game, then the game will glitch and i get loads of little dots all over the screen i have also experienced blue screens as well stating a video tdr error . This is very annoying as i just want to be able to play fairly simple games without spending loads on a top of the range graphics card i have already tried a lot of different methods that have been known to fix this sort of problem but so far none of them have worked please can somebody help me.
Thanks in advance. :(

System specs:
CPU-AMD Athlon II X4 635
RAM-2x 2gb DDR3 Sticks
PSU:XPower GTX 480w
GPU-Nvidia GT240 w/ KFA2 cooling system 1gb GDDR3
HDD-Hitachi Sata 3.0 1tb
M/board-ASRock n68c-s ucc

Ps. Some of the blue screen dump messages:
