Hey guys,

I ordered my pc through Ironside and I keep running into problems with their PCs. I sent it in about a month ago and received back and everything been fine until now.

The CPU was over heating hitting 200 degrees F. or about 94 degrees Celsius. I remounted the cooler for the cpu and now my graphics card won’t display a picture. If I unhook the grapics card and plug in my display to the mother board it shows picture and the CPU has cooled down by 20-25 degrees.

My build is
CPU-I7 7700K
Graphics- GTX GeForce 1080
CPU cooler- Corsair h100i v2
Ram- 32GB Corsair Vengence
Mother Board-gigabyte GA-Z170-Hd3p

Solution
Find myself always wondering about the quality of components. And especially PSUs....

With respect to the situation/problem in hand my sense is the PSU.

Reason: you eliminate the GPU and all is well.

How much power is that GPU demanding? Difficult to know per se as the spec's are established in ideal situations.

As are the power wattages for any given PSU. New or otherwise....

Try reducing the load. Disconnect the 3 TB drive. Pull a couple memory modules.

Key is to prove or disapprove that the PSU is not the source reason.
