A long while ago (~6 months ago), my pc crashed while I was playing League of Legends, it was a standard looking blue screen of death, but I ignored it hoping it wouldn't happen again. But recently it started to crash every single time that I try to play, anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes into playing. I've reinstalled Windows 7, upgraded to Windows 8, and I got a new SSD that I now use as my main hard drive. I don't know what is happening, and any help is appreciated.

So I took out my video card and tried blowing it off but nothing really came out, so I decided to go and get a can of compressed air. It actually got out a lot of dust I didn't know was in there. I'm going to try to stress test my PC now, so here's to hoping that it's now fixed.
Then the problem can be on the mobo or the processor maybe their expiry is date near. Or it maybe be the RAM isn't just enough. I had a lenevo laptop years ago which crashed once while playing WoW. Few months later it started crashing after every 10-30 mins then battery stopped charging. I tried to fix it by installing OS and everything didn't work and I bought a new laptop. I still don't know what was the problem. How old is the hardware on your desktop? & what are your specs by the way?

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950
Motherboard: Gigabyte model Z68MA-D2H-B3
Not sure how to find out the power supply stuff, there is a big 850 on the thing though.
Anything else I should list?

The fact that it happens regularly only after some time suggest an overheating issue, could be the video card, could be the CPU, check the fan/heatsinks on both for dust, and blow them off for starters, if it is still happening after that then you can run some other tests.
