Question Problems with Driver installation for Radeon HD 3200

another problem occured while using my laptop; this time it has something to do with software.
so, i've tried to install graphics drivers on my Windows 7 machine and it refuses to keep the "onboard drivers" default drivers (Windows WDM Drivers for the 3200) uninstalled. as soon as i try to install catalyst software, the driver installs it self in the background again!
this is actually really annoying..
the problem wit the WDM driver is, that it does'nt support OpenGL, which i need for 3D-Rendered games/software. i allready did try to install the drivers in safe mode. did'nt work...
and if i try to install the drivers manually via device manager it just says:

"the best drivers are already installed"

that means iam stuck with the Microsoft crap driver..

please help i really want 3D on my Laptop.

unplug from the net?
windows 10? disable auto driver install https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/disable-automatic-driver-downloads-on-windows-10

Have you gone to install driver and use manually install form computer?

iam unsing windows 7. uninstalling the driver, that microsoft provided makes no sense; it installs itself after a couple of minutes..

The problem is the newer catalyst drivers do not support the 3200. Go here, scroll down to win7 64 bit and install these drivers. See if they hold. https://www.amd.com/en/support/grap...on-hd-3000-series/ati-mobility-radeon-hd-3200

those are exactly the drivers, that i've tried out.
still, Windows refuses to install the AMD drivers and it says:
the best drivers are already installed.
the microsoft driver is named: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1)

Have you tried using restore to an earlier date? Have you tried rolling back the driver?

is this the driver it loads in? https://www.driverscape.com/download/ati-radeon-hd-3200-graphics-(microsoft-corporation-wddm-1.1) If not try this driver.

it loads in the Microsoft WDDM drivers.
by the way: this is a fresh install of Win7.
