I have a clients laptop, that had a BCD Problem. As they had no important information on the laptop, they requested a format and re-installation of WIndows 8.
I had extreme trouble with formatting, and eventually installed windows 10(oops, my mistake). Now I can't format it again back to Windows 8. It says: A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now.
Now the windows 8 USB drive is in, and it read it to load setup, but now it gives me this error. How do I Proceed with the installation?
PS: the windows 8 Pen Drive is created with RUFUS, MBT as Bios and UEFI. I tried GPT but gave the same error.
It does recognise the stick in BIOS as a bootable drive.
Thank you.
