[SOLVED] Problems with fortnite on 750 ti

Im having lag spikes in fortnite while the game is rendering stuff...drops from solid 60 fps to 15-35 very often.. Please help!

Gtx 750ti 2gb
G3220
6 GB RAM
450w PSU

I've had this PC for about 3 weeks now and ever since the first run of fortnite the game is lag spiking/lagging/stuttering

What resolution are you playing at?

While Fortnite is relatively easy to run, it's still an open-world(ish) title that's fairly CPU intensive.
Especially at lower resolutions (1080p or less) you're putting more demand on the CPU ...... and you have a fairly weak dual-core processor that's pushing 6 years old and was entry level at the time of it's launch.

The official minimum requirements on a CPU front is a 2.8GHz i5, a quad-core chip.


You could look to run your OS as light as possible, limit background tasks as much as possible etc..... but you're still going to be bound by the G3220.
