Problems with gtx1060

I recently bought a Lenovo Y720 laptop with a gtx 1060 6gb and I've had troubles with some games.
In NBA2k18 i'm hitting around 30 to 40 fps on high settings while ingame, in bf1 around 30 fps(high settings). I have no idea what to do to run games as they are supposed to, please help?

The games are also depends on your CPU and if you have high temp on your system then it will throttle and results in low performance
how much CPU and Ram you have ? what are your system tempratures under full load and idle

I have an intel core i7 7700HQ at 2.80GHz and 16 gb of Ram. When I'm gaming, the GPU temperature are around 55°C and my CPU only reaches about 30% of usage dependig on the game. The temperature is about 30° while idle.
I've also seen some revies of the same laptop and they run the same games but at a better framerate.
