Hey,
I have 250GB SSD and 2TB HDD discs and a problem occured. Recently I decided to change my OS to Windows 7 Professional. I even decided to delete all the data and start with a clean shield. But after the first installation I had a few problems and since I didn't have much data yet, I decided to reinstall. During the installation I chose the custom installation, formated both my disks and chose the ssd for the system. But when it finished, I found out that my system isn't able to see my hdd. So I reinstalled (a couple of times) but the problem remained. I was desperate so I tried to devide the hdd to 2 partitions, approx 7gb and 1.8gb. And to my surprise, the bigger part was actually showing! I wasn't quite satisfied but I couldn't find better way to solve this. But today, I installed W7 Service pack 1. After the necessary reboot guess what happened, the hdd disappeared again. AND it doesn't show in Disc Manager so I don't know what to do. Any advice?
Thank you.

Check it with hdd regenerator, if it has any bad sectors than the disc is damaged(create a bootable usb with hdd regenerator on it)... You can also use some windows programs to get the status of a disc (for example: CrystalDiskInfo).
Take all the drives out except the boot drive. Install windows, board drivers and etc. Then once your comp is up and running right, install other drives. Windows installs boot files on other drives too and you don't want or need that. Might have to initialized the problem hdd and do a full and long format if you can get access to it. Good luck!

I'm sorry it took me so long but I've been busy and honestly didn't want to get myśelf ivolved it my pc problem. But I finally encouraged myself and got pretty surprised - the disc returned, everything worked and it seemed ok. However, in past days I am experiencing some strange stuff. For example today it took my pc pretty long time to "load" files located on this disc. I could watch how the icons are being loaded one after other. It is almost impossible to work with that so I have to use only my ssd. Is it possible to check my disc's functionality by some software or is there some service for it? I'd like to know if it is my mistake or if the disc could arrive already damaged. Thank you.
