Question Problems with my Benq VZ2350 23-inch Monitor

I have a small scratch on my Monitor Benq 23" VZ2350 and unfortunately there is two white dot/ hot pixel, is there anyway to fix white dot dead pixel?

I bought this monitor 2nd hand from a guy in facebook, worth 78$ , he did not tell me that there are defects.
is there anyway to fix white dot pixels?

P.S. i think there is a hole in the part of the monitor screen where the white dot pixel are. I am afraid to flick and put pressure on it.. i tried jscreenfix.com for an hour.. but theres still nothing.

it is actually uncomfortable to see, when i watch netflix and other videos..

Do you happen to know when the former owner bought the monitor? And did he give you the proof of purchase?

You could give BenQ a call for RMA, but without this information, it might be tough. As far as the dead pixel symptom is concerned tho, this may have to do with how old the panel is because, for instance, a pixel can always short-circuit or remain open, but if the panel is old the chances are higher.
