Problems with my computer

So I'm in need of help, I am at the end of my rope and I've tried everything I can think of. My computer will turn on, fans running, lights turn on, a beep. Nothing is displayed on the monitor and the peripherals don't light up. I fixed it for a while by unplugging the hard drive from the sata port, and then plugging it back in. This no longer fixes the problem. I am hoping to find help here...I think maybe I need a new mother board, but I don't know. Please help me.

cpu
ram - how much and mfgr + model
motherboard - mfgr + ,model
gpu??
windows version
psu

you might try clearing CMOS and leaving BIOS at defaults for a bit
but do provide the above

I CAN'T help you with AMD, but
1) did you try clearing CMOS?
2) I'd pull that odd ram stick out

If it booted with your sata hdd disconnected then you may have a failing unit. You may need a new one but you have to reinstall windows if that is the case. Can you get to bios? With drive disconnected?

No, I cannot get anything to display with or without the hard drive plugged in.

make sure the ram is seated. try another test power supply.
