Hello,
I`ve just upgraded my GPU from 9400GT to ASUS EAH6850, but now i am experiencing some weird problems.
Always when when i want to run a game or a 3d application or even changing a windows theme the screen flashes 2-3 times than everything is ok, always when the screen flashes i get this error "AMD display driver has stopped responding and has succesfully recovered" , i`ve also tried installing some old drivers but the problems did`nt fix, i don`t know what is causing the problem, PSU, Drivers or maybe the video card.
Here are my PC specs:
Asus P5B
C2D E7200 2.53Ghz Stock
Asus EAH6850 DirectCU Catalyst 11.9 Drivers
2GB DDR2 667MHZ
Maxtor 320Gb
PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power 500w with 16A on both 12v Rails(16+16).

If your getting that error that means the card is crashing.Make sure that your have erased all of the old Nvidia driver for the 9400GT and make sure you install the latest drivers for the 6850.

If that doesn't fix it then I believe that your card isn't getting enough voltage/clocks are to high.Download MSI Afterburner and set the Core Clock to 775mhz.Then set the Memory Clock to 1000mhz.Then click Apply.

This doesn't pertain to your topic but I just wanted to let you know that the 6850 will get bottlenecked by your CPU.You shoudl try O.C.ing.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried setting the core clock to 775Mhz with AMD Overdrive but nothing happened.
BTW i`ve OC`ed my E7200 @ 3.2 Ghz.
