Hello, I'm having a issue with my PC.

Last night I was playing like every night after a hard day of work and all of a sudden my PC went off. I tried turning it back on but nothing shows on my monitor, I tried everything i could, disconnecting everything and let it sit for a while, cleared CMOS, tried with a differen HDMI cable and with a DVI cable as well with no luck.

I noticed that the vga led on my board comes on and stays on then after a few moment the boot device led comes on as well and then nothing happens. All the fans turn on including the ones from the GPU but no video comes out. I also tried another PCI slot with no luck.

I've had this setup for a couple of years now and lately there have been outages frequently which forces my PC to go off suddenly. Also one of the fans is not working properly it runs much slower than the other one.

This is my hardware.

Xfx radeon 7970 3gb
Antec PSU 750watts hcg_750
Fx 8350
Asus evo m5a99x
Main drive is a pny ssd
Patriot sector 1333 2x 4gb ram

This a bad thing for me since I work with my PC and I would really appreciate advice to sort this out.

Sorry for the long text and thank you in advance.

PS: I have a video of what it does that I can upload if needed.

I thought of that but unfortunately I don't have anyone that can do that. 🙁

Me too. Let me see how can I get it tested and I'll get back to you with the outcome. Thanks for the brief response :)

I tested the GPU on another PC but I had to use my power supply and it gave no video everything turns on just the same like on my PC. So im thinking that at this point it's pretty obvious is the graphics card.

Today is a sad day for this man 🙁 .

Any recommendation on a new GPU that compares to this one? For around $200
