Basically i'm moving my current HDD to a other PC.I connected the HDD to the other PC, and now when i turn on my pc it shows "reboot and select boot device" I know my HDD is not dead. Does anybody know how to fix this? My HDD is a 500 GB Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 and motherboard is a IPIBL-LB if thats any help.

Do you have more than one bootable hard drive installed? I think it just wants you to enter the bios/UEFI on post and choose which hard drive to boot from. Press F2 on start up (it may be F1, Delete, or Esc) and choose your boot device (i.e. hard drive).

Sounds like the HDD isn't being detected by the other PC or the other PC's BIOS isn't configured to boot from the HDD. What you should do is first double-check the power and data connections to the HDD and make sure they are tight. Then go into the other PC's BIOS and look in the boot menu. Make sure your HDD is listed on the boot menu appropriately.

if you had a ssd in the older pc or another drive the system restore if it was on the other drive it has the boot files. on the new mb check to see if there 3 party sata chipset. if there is make sure your not using it. most are boot devices only and by default there off. also see if your drive was installed in achi mode or raid mode or ide. if it was id make sure you switch modes in the bios on the new built. on the new build make sure intel radid start is off. it set the drive to raid mode.
