Problems with my R9 290 in Uber Mode?

So I bought a R9 290 before the Etherium mining started and got a very good price on it, it works perfectly fine but today i wanted to see if i could squeeze some extra horsepower out of it, so i try to find how to put it on uber mode instead of silent mode, and I didn't think it was gonna be as easy as flipping a switch, well i couldn't find any thing to help me so i decided to pull my panel off and flipped the switch. the problem is that when it turned on and went to my lock screen it was a very poor resolution like i didn't have drivers installed on my pc, I turned it off and switched it back to silent mode and it was back to the normal resolution. I have my drivers recently updated and can't find anything on it.

Yeah i do XD, its a Gigabyte Windforce Tri-X. Okay well the switch is set to the right, and can you give a link or an explanation of the difference in Legacy and UEFI mode, and is it different if i didn't have the tri-x card? I know there is no real performance impact i just want to know what the best would be or if it matters. Thanks

well I switched it over to the left again and it booted like the right, no problems??? I guess my pc was like "hey we are gonna let this work"??

Well I it set my max temp from 85C to 95C, so maybe its just sapphire that does that and im gooch.

Glad to know it worked out fine this time. I guess it was adjusting itself the first time, maybe a reboot would had worked. But hey why worry, if its working, its working...

95 C is too much, even for R9 290.... see if the fans are running or not....

yeah, I tested it in and it obviously wasn't worth my Gpu life to have it run on uber, but I guess i have experenced it and yeah XD. thanks for the help
