I have a problem with my video card. Whenever I play games with my radeon I get a black screen after some time. My monitor shuts down so I know the video card doesn't give a signal any more. Before that the game works well and there is no performance drop. When I reset the computer everything is back normal. Would this problem be solved with a driver update or is this a hardware malfunction and should I get a replacement Card ? Any help would be welcome.

One last, info needed, how many watts is your power supply? And what brand is it?

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!

Well, you're right, it could be the psu. Because my 350 Watts chieftek died while reinstalling new mobo. sow I bought the leftover from the store and that was a unbranded 300 Watts Psu. I ordered A 400 Watt Enermax psu but I don't have it yet.
