I will do my best to outline our current setup and the problems we have been having. Hope some of you will have some troubleshooting ideas for me. We are on a fiber optic feed. The modem is setup by the provider and is installed outside next to our power meter. So we have a Cat 5 line that runs from the modem into our main building. In the main building the Cat 5 is connected to a Linksys EA6900. From there we are running two Cat 5 feeds from the router to two other buildings. In those buildings we have wireless access points. When the systems are running they have been great. Fast speeds and connectivity. But on a nearly daily basis we lose the connection. I then have to restart the router and typically it will run the rest of the day. Any ideas why we might be dropping our connection. We contacted the provider and they thought that there may be a chance that one of their connections is sloppy or they may have moisture in the line that is distributing the signal. But nothing has been resolved yet. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
