Problems with new SSD

I just installed the Samsung 1TB 860 Evo SSD. After installing Windows 7 Ultimate onto it I immediately run into problems.

My computer will freeze when clicking on links in Chrome while it says "waiting for cache" in the bottom. If any downloads are going when this happens they will be paused.

I can't install the Asus M5a97 R2.0 Realtek audio drivers

If I install the Logitech gaming software and reboot then I wont be able to boot windows and be forced to reformat.

I already went back to the store to try swap the ssd for another of the same model and I am still running into the first 2 problems. Haven't tried to install the logitech software again but I don't really feel like since the first two are bad enough to need help.

Try Win 10, if possible.

If I put Windows 10 on it I wont be able to use my networked printer.

Also I just tried using the samsung migration tool and it crashed partway through and now the drive wont show up in disk manager.

Try RMA-ing the SSD, just to rule it out.

Do you mean returning it for another ssd of the same model? I already did that.

Is the SSD detected in BIOS, or with Windows install?

It shows up in windows install, just not in disk manager.

Are you able to format it?

No, it's grey'd out.

Check with diskpart. If still no go, I'd return it, though... again.

It shows up in diskpart with list disk. Status online.

Try selecting it, cleaning and formatting.

I can select it and clean it but when I try to format it says no disc selected. I'll take it back and see if they have any non samsung ssd's.
