I 'm using TP-Link TL_PA511 V1 Powerline Adapters and when I plug both adapters directly into the single wall socket, all three leds are turned on and device work fine. ADSL router is linked to 1st adapter while a computer is linked to the 2nd one.

If I unplug ethernet cable from 1st or 2nd pwl adapter after undefinded minutes, all 3 leds are turned off of corresponding adapater; this behaviour happens with both devices.

TEST A: If I link again ethernet cable to 1st adapter , It happens nothing and state of device is alwways the same state (3 led turned off).

I read that if there is no activity, powerline adapter goes into power-save mode with power led which is blinking, but I see all 3 led turned off !

Can you suggest me other test? What do you think?
They are damaged ?

I use similar power line adapters and they do the same - if not being used they turn off. I'm not sure why it's different behaviour to what is stated in the manual.

Do they work correctly when plugged in and active? If you leave them connected, even with your computer on standby the network adaptor should keep them active.

Yes they work fine when they plugged in but if computer goes to sleep and I come back after one hour the PWL adapter, which linked to computer, is completely turned off while the other one, which is linked to router, is always turned on.

And consider that turning off the LEDs would be/could be part of the power saving process.

Even if a minimal amount.....

I installed software to manage this adapter where I can decide to disable power save or to turn off led.
Power save likes ok that is disabled but I can try to enable I got error. I tried to manage pwl with different OS.
By software It's possibile to turn off all led but I decide to turn on leds to monitor behaviour of pwl.

Do all pwl adapters have this kind of behaviour?

Turn off power saving.
I have a older model that doesn't have that feature and have 0 problems.

Edit a quick search shows this,

Turn off power saving.
Thank you very much.
I already tried but software shows power saving is turned off.
Furthermore if I try to activate power saving (for test) I got "failed" !
I tried with different OS and result is the same.
I upgrade firmware but nothing, what do you think?

Not sure then I just Google how to turn it off. Like I said mine don't have power saving.
