behind a firewall (Norton) however weve tried with it disabled and still no
joy.
Shes using AOL 9 Broadband to connect and im on Blueyonder Broadband. Does
anyone know why this wont work as it did when she was on BT

Many Thanks

Its possible that AOL is blocking port 3389 which is needed for Remote Assistance to work. Additionally, how are you trying to instantiate the session? From Windows Messenger, e-mail, etc.?

Many Thanks for your reply
Remote Assistance is requested through MSN Messenger 6.2, however Windowss
Messenger 4.7 has been tried too (we both have the same versions)
Any idea how this port can be unblocked on AOL ?
Any Help would be appreciated
Many Thanks

You'd have to talk with AOL.
