Hi guys,

Im having some issues with my pc I bought the other day so before I return it to the vendor
maybe you have some additional ideas/inputs I could try.

PC:
PSU 1000W corsair
aorus gaming 7 mobo
32 gb ram gskill 3000mhz
I7 8086k
aorus 1080ti xtreme in SLI
Fractal 36 water cooling

Win 10 64 bit

Did zero clocking just installed OS.
Here is where the party starts.

Furmark runs without any issues.
3dMark gives BSOD + Bad pool caller 1 sec after the image appears.
Heaven benchmark runs but crashes.
Every game I run it just freezes and returns to windows.

So I thought the PSU wasn`t good enough but then I stress tested both proc and gpu at the same time
for over 30mins and everything was peachy. Proc temp didnt go above 70 and upper gtx was at 75 degrees,
bottom one was arround 80tish so this shouldnt be a problem.

Once I hit debug mode on nvidia control panel everything works like a charm.

I tried reinstalling OS several times, tried several versions of nvidia drivers.
But without debug mode everything crashes.

Which is weird because when i turn off debug mode and go to furmark he uses 99.99% of both gpus at the same time
without any issues so I don`t think there is something faulty with the GPU`s aswell.

Event Viewer says only Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Do you have any ideas what should I try before returning?

Solution
Try my theory, download DDU go to safe mode SHIFT+RESTART METHOD, then do the DDU on Nvidia drivers, clean and shutdown.

-Now first leave one GPU plugged, remove other, install drivers for it, see if it works , good shut down your PC,
-replace your GPU with second in same slot, see if drivers works like a charm,
-good now shut down your pc again and plug second GPU and connect with SLI bridge, now test if the cards are stable.

Now how the PCIE connectors to power your GPU are plugged? Single line for both connectors of one GPU or 2 lines seperate for one GPU?

And last question, which Corsair 1000W PSU? Brand and model and label (Like Grey/Orange)?

Try this also

GUYS! Sorry for the caps lock, but it...

GUYS! Sorry for the caps lock, but it seems I'VE FOUND WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS COMING FROM :D

It wasn't from the components :)

I remember that I updated to Windows 10 Creators and that the problems start appearing.

I right click on my games I had issues with -> compatibility -> Disable FullScreen Optimization.

And BOOOOM, everything is running fine :D Games launching with no issue in few seconds IN FULLSCREEN!

Can't believe I haven't think about trying this ...

hey man thanks for posting

1000W Corsair RMx Series RM1000x, ATX 2.4

Ill try to take em out later. each has its own cable i already tried disabling one and running just with one but same shit happens.

like the oc is unstable from factory but makes no sense since furmark kills em hard and its working :/

yea that didnt fix it

the problem was most likely in the aorus software which i installed with the card. it messes up something with clock speed im not 100%.

I installed msi afterburner and fiddled with the clock speeds a bit. I reduced base clock for 5 and increased memory clock for 9.
Now it works like a charm...kill me if i get this

thanks for the help tho
