I'm having trouble making this card reader work, I believe I'm doing something wrong, because I switched to another original and it's giving the same problem.
I can't find anything about this reader, I know it's very good, but little commented and his manual doesn't help much in this either.

I'm using a Biostar H310MHP motherboard, which has USB 3.0 on it.

I don't know if it can be something related to Bios or this card reader needs the 2 power connectors to work, because I've never seen a driver like this need sata and Molex power to work if this is the problem, but if not, I'll end up burning the driver, but I wanted to know around here in the forum if I need to see some settings in Bios or I can plug the 2 connectors into the power.
So far, I just put the 3.0 connector on and connected to the sata power.

Solution
I know because a friend of mine who knows a lot about it, told me that it is the best and looking at the drive, really, it is something well done, in the connectors, rear cables, structure and so on.
But he doesn't know how to solve the problem.
doesn't sound like your friend knows a lot about it at all.

plug both the power in. don't see if the manual that said is "or"

That's what I said, the manual does not explain that, it is a one-page manual, speaking only very basic things.

how does this work? don't know anything about it but it very good?

That this is another driver, because I changed the interior that I had with the store, thinking that it was defective, but it is not his defect since it happened the same thing with the second drive that I have now.
That that both were sealed.
