[SOLVED] Problems with TridentZ RGB Ram

I recently built a pc, and got 2x8gb G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3200 speed memory to go with my asrock b450 steel legend mbo and ryzen 7 2700x (I did not get the amd optimized ram as the ram I got was cheaper)
I noticed that the ram is clocked at 2133 mhz in the bios, but when trying to manually set the XMP to 3200 mhz as advertised, my PC failed to boot and when I managed to get a display it had returned to 2133 mhz. I also have a problem with the RGB being jittery and weird both with Asrock Polychrome and the G.Skill RGB Software. This issue is likely unrelated. How can I fix either or both of these issues?

The B450 boards in general and yours in particular do not work well with F4-3200C16D-16GTZR, which is why your board is not on the G.Skill QVL and that memory is not on your board QVL either. It generally does run at 2133MHz. This is an extremly common post in the memory section if you search it.

Your best option is to return that memory and buy the AMD optimized. If you cannot do that for some reason, then contact G.Skill support.

The lighting issue may also be related, haven't heard much about that though.

I was thinking that having non AMD optimized would cause issues, but I also read things about how it doesn't actually matter it's just a way to get more money. Would you reccommend that I get the AMD optimized ram, or should I just go with an entirely different brand and if so, which ram?
The main reason I chose that ram is the first place was because it was one of the brands I had seen frequently that showed up in the Asrock Polychrome list of ram.

I would get the AMD optimized, I know of about a dozen builds where it worked perfect. This is really an issue of the combination of B450/Ryzen/and Corsair Vengeance LPX or the non AMD Trident Z RBG.
