Problems working with files in Vista

Lately , when trying to move , delete , and/or rename files , and actually in even trying to empty recycle bin , I get a "discovered 0 items " notice and / or , that I need permission or some such . Thanks for any help !!! cretemaniam

Hey Zoron , thanks for your reply ! I run Malwarebytes anti malware

continuosly and I think it's good .

In my quest to reslove this problem in Vista , I really tried everything ,

then , finally , system restore .

I know this makes no sense , but in system restore , (and system restoring did not resolve the prob)

But in sys res one option was advanced > prefs > some such .....

I just disabled all Vista visual fancy stuff like shadows and rounded

corners on boxes and all of a sudden my sys works perfectly !

Makes no sense , but that's Vista !

Now I am moving files , renameing , deleting , and so forth with ease , and really , everything seems alot faster

And I don't miss the visuals at all . I just want sh%^ to work !!!

I almost forgot ....my recycle bin also ....would not recycle ......

"discovering "0" items " then run forever without doing it"s job

After I made the changes I told you , now rec. bin works great too
