Hello All,

I've been experiencing some problems with my computer and i would like your advise and expertise. I have the folowing configuration :

AMD X2 3800+
Asus A8N-SLI Premium
2x512Mb Corsair PC 3200
Seagate 200Gb Sata
PSU 340w from Chieftec Case
Asus Extreme 6600GT

and the problem is that my computer sometimes reboots alone, and after this rebooting gives the error "Windows has recovered from a serious error". I've been trying to run 3DMark2005 and 3DMark2003 but they allways crash. When i play Pro Evolution Soccer 5, sometimes i think FPS are low because it feels like lagging.

Does anyone have a clue to help me? I really appreciated.

Best Regards

João Rico

My first guess would be the PSU - log voltages when you're running 3DMark - I bet your 12V line is seriously dipping during the benchmark. Have you disabled auto reboot on error? If yes, then what is the error code that you are receiving? If not then disable the auto reboot and let us know what error you get...

yeah im having a issue like that to, i posted it in the cpu cause not sure were to put it. while back fan went out on video card. think that did something to power supply cause after that i couldnt have computer going with 2 sticks of ram in. My computer started to frezze only at first every so often , especailly when i was doing games and stuff. then it started to frezze after just logging on. After taking out one stick of memory it stopped doing it, but would still get these mild frezzes of the big frezze in games and stuff. It sucked in MORPG and games in genneral cause my framerates were good but i would still get these random long frezzes. To get both sticks of memory to work together i had to up the voltage on the ram voltage in bios. first by+.1 then, would started kicking me off games , then i had to up voltage to +.2, then my computer would have these random fits and reset the memory settings in bios back to defalt. i then had to take one stick of memory out, then reset voltage , then put ram stick back in. It sucked, cause it started to reboot more and more. Now i cant even put in 2 sticks of ram in my mobo at all. It wont even start, just gives me the long beep out of my computer speaker telling me that something wrong with the memory. My computer even takes longer to load stuff when i click on it, like its waiting for the memory to kick in or something, and even with the 1 stick of 512mb in i still get these random frezzes in games and stuff even when my fps are good. So now that i said all that, oh and i replaced my video card twice , to make sure it wasnt that., anyway. try upping your voltage a bit on your ram in the bios to +.1. i believe most bios lets you up your voltage by +.1 and +.2. if for some reason you do damage your ram by doing that , no worries ram companys will warranty on ram stick as long as you dont go over +.2, besides your ram should fail because of doing that. i would also recomend running memtest 86 to make sure ram sticks are good.
