I have a HP computer running a clean install of Windows 10. Every three to four days it crashes on startup with the message that includes "Process 1_Initialization_Failed". Windows eventually fixes the problem and restarts successfully. Do you know what causes the problem in the first place?

First thing you should do is scan your system for viruses using a paid tier 1 antivirus program (and malwarebytes ),and after that run memory diagnostics. When you are done with them, run a chkdsk scan of your drive. Basically, that error happens when the system can't boot up because of corruptions, so you need to rule out that it's a hardware or virus related issue first. After that, you can run sfc /scannow to see if it fixes the corruption.

I run an antivirus programme and malwarebytes on a regular basis. I ran them again plus memory diagnostics and chkdsk without result. When I ran sfc /scannow I got a message "Windows Resources Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in CBS.Log Windr\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. etc" While I found masses of detail in the log file it is of no help to me. I have saved the data files and will wipe the disk and start again. Thanks for your advice.
