Process of Elimination: Motherboard issue?

I'm pretty sure my problem is the motherboard itself... Ive owned it for one year.

M5A99FX PRO R2.0
HD 7870
FX 8320
Antec HCG 620W

This rig has run without issues for over a year now, i went out of town and came back to the PC not booting.

First i thought the GPU was the cause but ive since ruled that out.

Next the RAM LED on the mobo started to act up and stayed lit for a while. I tried one stick, in each slot. Bought new RAM and borrowed a friends' all with the same results (like 8 sticks tested).

Taking the CMOS battery out, and using the MemOK! button would get me to boot, but after reset it wont boot again until you take the CMOS out and repeat. But that only worked 3 or 4 times. Now the MemOK! button doesnt work at all.

So at this point i boiled the culprits down to the CPU (mem controller?), the DRAM slots on the mobo, or the PSU.

I bought an FX 4130 from MicroCenter to test it out and the results are the same. (was able to boot with MEMok once with this setup). But it doesnt work at all either now. Now the CPU light comes on right when i hit power and stays on, memok! is unresponsive, and RAM light does nothing now.

Any thoughts? If i send the mobo into ASUS for RMA and its not faulty ill pay shipping both ways for nothing..

Do you have a PC Speaker connected to the header on the mobo? When you try to boot it will beep indicating what issue you're having, I've attached a link with a description of what each set of beeps means:

THe result of that can pinpoint exactly whats failing, that said I'm pretty sure I agree with your evaluation, the mobo has failed.
