Processor and Motherboard compatibility

Could anybody tell me, please, whether the 9th Gen i5-9600K processor would be compatible with the Intel DQ67SW Motherboard. All help and advice appreciated

Nope.

You will need a z390 motherboard for the 9600k to work out of the box.

Not compatible , CPU is 1151 socket , motherboard is 1155.
Z390 is the ideal board for the 9600k.
